Welcome to Echoes Of Almost

Here is the why behind it all

I'm Lauren Hunt—writer, feeler, wanderer, and woman who has lived a thousand lives in the space of a single heart. Echoes of Almost was born from the wreckage and the resurrection—from the ache of love that almost was, the version of myself I almost became, and the wild dreams I almost gave up on.

This blog is my sacred rebellion against settling.

It’s a home for the words I once buried in my journal, in my ribs, in all the places too tender to touch.

I write for those who have silenced their hearts for the sake of being loved.

For those who’ve slept beside someone “good enough” while their soul withered silently.
For the romantics who keep choosing softness in a world that praises armor.
For the ones who left, who stayed too long, who dared to love deeply and lost themselves in the process—but never truly lost their fire.

I’ve walked through the flames of almosts and came out holding the kindling for something real.
This space is where I place it all. The ache. The hope. The truths I was once too scared to say out loud.

Echoes of Almost is for the ones who still believe in great, soul-shaking love—and know that the journey to find it starts within.

Whether you’re in the middle of your own unraveling or the beginning of your becoming, I hope you find something here that feels like home. Or, at the very least, like someone finally said what your heart has been trying to whisper.

Thank you for being here.
Thank you for being you.

You’re not alone in it.

Because it's nice to meet the person behind the words
